the ball is in your court
If somebody says this to you, they mean that it's up to you to decide or take the next step.
The ball is in your court 從字面上來解釋，它的意思是"球在你的場地上了。" 實際上，這是打網球時用的一句話，也就是你已經採取了行動，把球打過了網，到了對方的場地，現在是對方採取行動的時候了。
但是，從俗語的角度來說，它的意思並不在於打球。美國的生意人和律師經常用這個俗語來告訴對方，他們已經提出建議和要求，現在是對方採取行動的時候了。
